Seeking Incredible Volunteer Chaperones!

Our amazing chaperones are the backbone of our performances! We could not do what we do without your amazing support!

​

Chaperones must be able to attend evening Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, June 4th, and must arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the show they are chaperoning.

 

Chaperones will receive a complimentary ticket so that they can sit and enjoy the show they are not scheduled to chaperone.

 

If interested, please email the BRAVO Center Office at bravocenterdance@gmail.com with:

1. Your name

2. Your phone number

3. The class (day and time) that is your first choice to chaperone (or if you are flexible)

4.  Which night  (Friday or Saturday) you would like to chaperone (or if you are flexible)

We will need two chaperones (one for each night) for most classes, but four chaperones (two for each night) for younger/larger groups.

 

Chaperones truly make it possible for the show to go on!  We look forward to hearing from you.

A few things before you get started...

​

• Tech Rehearsal is a 2 day process:
  Tuesday & Wednesday (June 2nd & 3rd) at the Al. Ringling Theatre. 

Specific class stage times can be found under the "Tech Rehearsal" Section. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled stage time completely dressed in costume and show hair, and ready to go! Parents/guardians must stay with 4K thru 8th grade dancers during tech rehearsals.

It is crucial you are there on time as we will not re-do an entire group rehearsal for one missing dancer.

If a dancer misses Tech or Dress Rehearsal they risk not performing in the Show.

Dancers are free to depart with their parent/guardian after they complete their 15 minute on-stage rehearsal. 
 

• NOTE: In order to leave your chaperoned area during Dress Rehearsals and Performances, dancers must have a signed Early Release Form on file for Dress Rehearsal and each Show.

This is a safety precaution! 

If you are debating whether or not your dancer will make it the whole show, please fill out an Early Release Form just in case. We would rather have them on file and not need them than deny your child’s early release.

Kindergarten and 1st grade dancers will be sitting with their own parent/guardian for the duration of the show, and will not need an Early Release form as they will not be under the supervision of a BRAVO chaperone.

Dancers in 2nd grade and up who wish to depart early from their chaperoned area will need a form submitted by a parent/guardian.

All High School and Placement Dancers are expected to be present for the full show, and should remain after Bows for notes and feedback from BRAVO teachers at the Thursday Dress Rehearsal and the Friday performance.  
 

• Dress Rehearsal is Thursday, June 4th at the Al. Ringling Theatre
  All dancers & chaperones must be present for Dress Rehearsal. We will be rehearsing the full company Finale/Bows first, then we will do a full run-thru of the entire show after. Since we are running the Finale/Bows first, dancers with completed Early Release Forms will be able to leave concluding their final dance during Dress Rehearsal.
   

• Shows are Friday, June 5th & Saturday, June 6th at the Al. Ringling Theatre
  Dancers and chaperones need to be at the Al. Ringling Theatre by 5:30pm dressed and ready to go. The show will begin at 6:00pm!
