Ideas in motion
At the BRAVO Center, we offer a vast array of styles of dance, from ballroom to modern, ballet to tap, dance theatre, creative movement, hip hop, all-male, street jazz, funk, cultural, lyrical, and more! When it comes to our choreography and energy, we never settle. In fact, each year we bring in guest choreographers from around the United States in order to introduce our students to new moves, new techniques, and new inspiration. Always family-friendly and age appropriate, BRAVO strives to present the Baraboo community with fun and clean entertainment in costume, song choice, and performance.
We follow the Baraboo School District school year from September to June by offering two-semester and/or year-long sessions, along with summer and mini-sessions for those of us who can never get enough dance. With BRAVO's annual two-shows, the Holiday Spectacular in December and the area's largest and most professional show two nights each June - each BRAVO dancer has the opportunity to perform at least 4 times annually! Performing is an integral part to dance as an art form, and it's a fun way to show off all that we've worked on- why settle for one showcase a year?
Our motto since the beginning has been "ideas in motion." Dance fosters creativity, strengthens our bodies, builds self-esteem, and encourages the healthy expression of our emotions in a way that no other art form can. Perhaps most importantly, dancing at BRAVO is fun!
As Baraboo's longest running dance studio (over 30 years!), the BRAVO Center is committed to providing you the best studio experience possible. BRAVO has academically qualified and professionally trained teachers who are passionate about sharing their love for dance with you.
With Baraboo's most reasonable per-hour-of-instruction tuition,
multiple class & session availability, two annual shows,
two large studios, and a welcoming atmosphere,
it's no wonder why the BRAVO Center is the area's leading dance studio!
All dancers and instructors must perform a self-health screening prior to arrival. If a dancer or anyone in the dancer's household has any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, chills, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing, stuffy or runny nose, loss of sense of smell, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of appetite) the dancer must stay home. If a dancer becomes unwell during class, they will be removed from the class and a parent/guardian will be called immediately. If you have a cough or a fever, you must stay home until you are symptom-free for 3 days.
The BRAVO Center follows the Baraboo School District when it comes to cancelling class due to Snow Days. If there is a snow day or early release from school due to weather, there will be no dance classes that evening. Late starts to school will not affect our dance schedule, and classes will continue as normal.
We understand not all our dancers are part of the Baraboo School District, so if it is unsafe in your area to drive or travel, please take caution and stay home. The BRAVO Center will also announce any snow day class cancelations via email and class BAND pages.
