Younger students will be in the same assigned seating as they will for performances. You may leave after your last performance number if you have no other dances.
Galley Studios will be taking dance photos after a class piece performs onstage. Dancers/guardians will go to the second level of the Al Ringling Theatre to take a group photo and/or individual photos. Please allow dancers who have additional dances to get their photos first. Order forms will be available in the BRAVO Center lobby and during dress rehearsal. Money and order forms will be turned into the photographer directly on Friday, December 2nd. Families can also purchase photos online from Galley Studios 4-6 weeks after our show's conclusion.
No early release form needed for this rehearsal - HOWEVER, parents will need early release forms to take dancers from chaperone area during performances on Saturday, December 3rd.
We will be running the show in performance order and all parents and guardians with elementary aged students must stay on the premises until their teacher releases them. Releases could be right after they perform, but we cannot guarantee the times - parents remain with your child so that they are attended to. Once a teacher verbally releases the children after rehearsing on stage, the dancer is the parent/guardian's responsibility solely.
9:00 - 10:00 pm
Time slotted for possible extra run-through at the theatre for Middle and High School dancers. The dances being run through will be determined during the dress rehearsal. This will also be used to mark staging for props, sets and special lighting cues, if needed.

MAKE-UP & NAILS

In order to look like you have a face to the audience, your show makeup needs to be significantly darker than you would wear normally.
Both males and females should put on a foundation or matte bronzer to help your face look it's natural shade under the harsh, white lights and brush their the apple of their cheeks (the round part when you smile) with a natural, rosy hue.
Both boys and girls should wear a lipstick 1-2 shades darker than their lip color. No fire-engine reds, please! We want you to look natural under the lighting.
Both females and males should line their upper and lower lids with black, navy, or olive eyeliner and apply a coat of black mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Gentlemen, it is important that you wear stage makeup for Dress Rehearsal and Show. When you apply stage makeup, you look as though you are not wearing any on stage. If you do not apply stage makeup, your face will look like a white slate.
Ladies, apply a dark green or blue shadow to your lids. Purples and browns on your lids can create a "black eye" effect under the lights.
Nails should be clean and free of any color polish. French tip, light pink or nude colors are acceptable.
COSTUME DESCRIPTIONS
Families are responsible for all costume pieces and accessories once they are distributed in class.
Please consult your student's instructor with any questions.
