Registration for our Short-Term 2025 session will open on Thursday, August 21st, 2025

Our Short-Term session classes will begin on Monday, September 15th, with two Holiday Spectacular performances on Saturday, December 6th, 2025!​​​

High School Dancers Placement Days

Sunday, August 17th OR Monday, August 18th 2025

5:00-7:00 PM​

Who: Any incoming high school dancer looking to be placed in an advanced class for the 2025-2026 BRAVO year. Placement classes are a full-year commitment (both Short and Long Term Sessions). High School dancers looking to join non-Placement classes do not need to attend Placement Days.

 

Placement Class Offerings Include:

• High School Girls Combo with Miss Amy on Mondays 6:00-7:00 PM OR 7:00-8:00 PM

• Modern with Ms. Grace on Tuesdays 5:00-6:00 PM

• Tap with Miss Amy on Tuesdays 6:15-7:00 PM

• Ballet & Pointe with Ms. Kristen on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 PM

• Musical Theatre with Ms. Brie on Wednesday 6:15-7:00 PM

• Hip-Hop with Ms. Erika on Thursday 7:00-7:45 PM

• Contemporary with Ms. Brie on Thursday 7:00-8:00 PM

 

When: Dancers need to attend either Sunday, August 17th OR Monday, August 18th starting at 5:00 PM. Dancers do not need to attend both nights. Attending both nights does NOT increase your Placement chances.

*If you cannot attend either placement date in person, you MUST contact bravocenterdance@gmail.com by 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 17th. All absentee auditioners will be sent alternative dance materials to prepare, film, and submit by Tuesday, August 19th. If you do not submit alternative materials by Tuesday, August 19th you will not be considered for Placement Classes.

***Due to so many anticipated participants and so many wonderful classes on the list, Miss Amy is asking for some flexibility on the end time. Please plan to stay later and be flexible with rides, if at all possible. Thank you so much for your flexibility!

 

What to Expect at Placement Days:

• Dancers will arrive at the new BRAVO Center studio (1212 8th St. Baraboo, WI) and fill out an audition form. On your form, you can indicate which Placement classes you wish to be considered for. This does NOT guarantee placement! This gives our instructors an idea of what you’re hoping to be considered for. 

• We’ll warm-up as a group, do across the floor technique, and then everyone will learn three combinations:

  • A modern/contemporary piece by Miss Grace

  • A musical theatre/jazz piece by Ms. Brie

  • And a hip-hop piece by Ms. Erika. 

• Dancers will perform both combinations for our BRAVO teachers in small groups.

• Teachers will then create class rosters based on Placement results. 

• Dancers will be contacted Wednesday, August 20th with any Placement classes that they are eligible to register for. 

• Dance registration will open on Thursday, August 21st on the BRAVO Center website! 

*Please note, you will NOT be able to register for a class you did not place in. If you register for a Placement class you did not place in, your registration for that class will be void.
