Since 1990, BRAVO director Amy Teelin has brought the Baraboo community a fun place to dance, exercise, and perform. Located on the Baraboo River just a few blocks from beautiful downtown, the BRAVO Center offers big-city opportunities in this wonderful small town.

The BRAVO Center is a positive, energetic dance and fitness studio that focuses on providing students with the perfect balance of technique and fun. Dance is a creative form of individual expression and we work to hone the artistry. It is our goal that each dancer who joins the BRAVO family not only has a blast in class, but can also use their skills and knowledge from BRAVO to excel in any performance endeavor.

We pride ourselves in providing our students with professional, quality instruction from trained teachers in a non-competitive, positive atmosphere. Every student is welcomed into the BRAVO family with open arms, regardless of age, ability, or achievement. Whether you're in class just for fun or you're preparing for collegiate programs, our personal and passionate teachers will help your goals.

What is it like to be part of BRAVO?

  • Classes run with the Baraboo school year, so the first (full) week of Baraboo school is the week that dance classes will start!  If you register for the full year, you will be dancing from September through June and perform in two Shows (our Annual Holiday Spectacular and our impressive June show)!

  • If you'd like to join us during the summer months... summer session is held between June and August with a smaller production at the conclusion.

  • You may have heard us call it a "SHOW" rather than a "recital"
    Why is that?
We can't wait to let our kids show off all that they've accomplished over the year! Not only do we have professional lights, sound, and impressive choreography, but we also include families in the behind the scenes and show what it's like to create a "show".

It is optional, but if you want to help create behind the scenes and see what goes into putting on an exciting show, you are welcome and encouraged to join us.  We have a Prop night, where we create many of the props you will see on stage.

  • Our choreography, music choices, and costumes are all age-appropriate, family friendly, and done professionally.

  • We are here because we LOVE dance and we LOVE our students. We look forward to you joining the BRAVO family, whether it be for dance, fitness, or special events. Please don't hesitate to contact us at any time.
